LA BARRIERE ALEZANE

A name full of history and passion

The name of the farm is inspired by the location "La Barrière," where, during the era of stagecoaches, a barrier marked the passage between two cities, with a toll fee required for crossing. "Alezane" refers to the coat color of their horses, Haflingers, an Austrian breed to which the family is deeply attached.

Passionate about these horses for many years, the owners regularly travel to Austria, the birthplace of the breed, to follow their development and meet other enthusiasts. The idea of opening their own bed and breakfast came from stays with locals in small Austrian villages, with the goal of offering the same authentic hospitality.
