Guided Tour: Art in the City

In the context of the “L’Art habite la Ville” (Art in the City) project, visitMons organises guided tours combining heritage and urban works of art. After 2015, a year in which Mons proudly carried the title of European Capital of Culture, and in line with the work begun by the Biennale with Niki de Saint Phalle, around 100 works of art appeared throughout the city, pushing back the walls of classical cultural institutions. Visitors are thus able to reclaim the transformed public space in the company of a guide who will stroll with them among a selection of chosen works. Mons, the cultural capital of Wallonia, is more than ever a city to discover or rediscover! Be inquisitive, let yourself be guided through architectural and heritage jewels and do not be afraid to be bathed in the ambient street art.
