Belvédère

The Belvédère

Set in a beautiful green and wooded environment, the Belvédère sports and recreation center has everything to delight visitors.

Throughout your walk, the spoil tip is an integral part of the leisure complex. Around it, a VITA fitness trail has been set up. You can also enjoy two tennis courts and Belgium’s very first natural swimming pool: an independent basin composed of different layers of volcanic rock and plants that naturally filter the swimming water. This pool has a capacity equivalent to an Olympic swimming pool. With three different depths and playful water jets, there is something for everyone. During the summer, don’t hesitate to take a refreshing dip. On this site, you can also visit the Malakoff Tower, an architectural symbol and a former coal mining shaft.
